Meet San Francisco's Best Dog Walking Team

About Us

At Sniff and Go, we believe that being a truly great dog walking and pet sitting service is all about making owners happy and pets even happier. We insist that there’s no limit to the peace-of-mind that a pet service can provide for its clients, and so, since 2012, we’ve incorporated innovative methods for scheduling visits and providing detailed animal care instructions. You will be able to verify your schedule online and your walker will provide a photo with notes at the conclusion of each walk. Our systems let us perform intense quality control checks on each service performed.

Since opening our doors in April of 2009, our staff has been constantly committed to providing a matchless experience for pet owners in San Francisco. We utilize an in-depth and strenuous hiring process to ensure that each and every member of our staff is of the utmost skill, trustworthiness, and character. We employ our dog walkers, enabling Sniff and Go to provide on-going training. Every member of our staff is also bonded and insured. This means that Sniff and Go is accountable for the entirety of our business, and we take that responsibility very seriously. We know how special your pet is to you, and so we make each and every pet special to us.

Our clients love Sniff and Go because we have a management team available to communicate with you. We are able to respond to client requests and inquiries quickly. We also understand no two dogs (or cats) are alike, and before we even begin working with your pet we ensure that we know all there is to know about their health, diet, exercise and emotional needs.

Here at Sniff and Go, we love your pets (almost!) as much as you do, and we look forward to ensuring that you return to find them safe, healthy, and as happy as can be. Reach out to us today and let Sniff and Go become your best friend’s second-best friend!

Our Amazing Team

Paul T.

Paul T.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and taking a moment to get to know our crew here at Sniff and Go. My name is Paul and I have been able to call Professional Pet Care my passion since 2010.

Being a San Francisco native, I am able to easily navigate our doggo friends throughout all the well known (and not so well known:)) sniffs of The City.

When it comes to our feline friends, there’s nothing better than the purrs and play time that comes from kitties that know they can trust our care.

I look forward to meeting you!

Jia Ling C.

Jia Ling C.

Jia Ling (often called Jia) was born and raised in San Francisco. She attended the University of California, Santa Cruz where she majored in Environmental Studies.

Although she has only had small animals like fishes, hamsters and a rabbit, she has loved animals all her life and loves all of Sniff and Go’s furry friends as if they were her own.

On her free time, she likes to read online articles on various topics, watch animations, create spreadsheets on Excel and draw when she feels inspired to.

Lina M.

Lina M.

Hey, I’m Matelina or just Lina and I’m born & raised in San Francisco.
Growing up I traveled a lot so I was never around to explore the city so in high school, I’d take the bus wherever felt right and learned to love and appreciate SF. From then on I was constantly on my feet finding new parks and pathways to wonder along.
I’ve always been an animal lover and consider myself a friend to all. I love connecting with nature and getting to know all animals on a personal level. I currently have a German Shepherd (Panzer) and a Malamute (Balto) and I often spend my free time cuddled up or wrestling with my dogs.
Flynn M.

Flynn M.

Hi, I’m Flynn.

I’ve been living in San Francisco since 1989, but I was born and raised in Palo Alto, CA.

Growing up in Palo Alto I have had the opportunity to be around lots of different animals – from hamsters and snakes, horses an ducks, to cats and dogs. But my true love is dogs. The love and companionship a dog can provide is life changing and too often under-appreciated.

I enjoy mountain biking, working out, cooking, BBQing and spending time outdoors. On most weekends you can find my wife and I exploring (biking, hiking, swimming) Northern California with our dog Dash.

Joe L.

Joe L.

Hi, my name is Joe and I am the General Manager at Sniff and Go.

I joined the team here in 2019 after 11 years with Windy City Dog Walkers in Chicago. While working in Chicago, I worked as a dog walker and in several management positions. I also have worked as a recruiter, finding dog walking candidates in Seattle, Chicago, New York and throughout the Bay Area.

I work with most clients via phone and email. I hope to have an opportunity to work with you and your pets in the future. Sniff and Go follows the same mission as my previous employer. I firmly believe that dogs and dog walkers benefit from on-leash, private neighborhood walks with a dedicated primary walker assigned. That is why I decided to join the team at Sniff and Go!

When I don’t have a leash or keyboard nearby, I enjoy spending time with my daughter Eloise and wife Maggie. I am attempting to be a better gardener and a competent golfer. I also have two wacky kitties named Miss Kitty and Seamus.

Jackie A.

Jackie A.

Hi there! I’m Jackie.

I’ve lived up and down California and cultivated a deep love for animals along the way. I had a backcountry childhood hanging out with llamas, prairie dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, spiders, dogs, cats, and more.

Since I don’t currently have animals of my own, I started pet sitting professionally in Los Angeles. I adore meeting new furry friends and their human parents! I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality (they can be such characters!) and adding some pampering and adventure to their day.

Outside of my pet career, I enjoy art, filmmaking, dance, and aerial acrobatics. I look forward to exploring the city and great outdoors with your pets!

Den I.

Den I.

Hi I’m Den!

I’ve always loved animals of all forms and sizes, but have had a special connection with dogs from the beginning. After getting my biology degree from Reed College in 2018, I came back to the city and fell headfirst into the dog care industry. Getting to work with such delightful animals professionally is such a treat!

As a life-long San Franciscan I know all the ins and outs of my walking turf and you can be sure I’ll give your four-legged friend the walk of their life. One of my favorite things about the job is building a strong connection with each and every animal I work with, it’s really special, so thank you for sharing your furry friends with me!

Heather J.

Heather J.

Hi I’m Heather!

I was born in England and moved to California when I was eight. Sadly I lost my accent. (What was I thinking?!) I grew up in Southern California and have lived in San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Oakland, and now San Francisco. I’ve always loved animals and felt a connection to them. I always want the best for them. I took some dog behavior classes through the Dog Training Internship Academy here in San Francisco and learned about the methods of positive reinforcement, which I strongly believe in. I‘ve worked as a dog walker for about four years and also volunteered with the Berkeley Animal Shelter. Before joining Sniff n’ Go I worked at a dog daycare.

In my spare time I love sampling all the snacks at Trader Joe’s (lol) and I’m somewhat obsessed with improv which allows me to express my silly side and create characters. I don’t currently have a pet but hope to have one in the future.

Michael W.

Michael W.

Hello, I’m Michael.

I grew up in Minnesota and have lived in the Bay Area since 1995 (minus 4 1/2 years in Salt Lake City). I am also a Tour Director/guide as well, mostly student tours and special needs tours. Working with people with special needs and dogs has been the two most rewarding, challenging, and enlightening experiences in my life. Dogs have that wonderful way of being that calming, relaxing, centering energy that we all need at times. They help when I need to be reminded to find the joy in the simple things. I feel the most alive when I’m with them. I couldn’t imagine dogs not in my life in some way. Sometimes I feel I understand dogs more than people.

I’m also a huge movie buff, a complete RMS TITANIC fanatic, love history and I’m a big lover of pop culture and 80’s trivia.

I have also started learning sign language.
