Inner Sunset Dog Walker
Professional dog walking in Inner Sunset by trained, CPDT-KA certified dog walkers. Private, one-on-one walks covering Irving Street, 9th Avenue, and the residential blocks up toward Golden Gate Heights and Grandview Park.
The Neighborhood
The Sunset is one of San Francisco's most relaxed and residential neighborhoods, and walking here has a rhythm to it that dogs absolutely love. Irving Street is the neighborhood's friendly main strip, full of local spots and easy energy, and 9th Avenue runs right through with the south entrance to Golden Gate Park just steps away. Golden Gate Heights and Grandview Park sit above it all with some of the most breathtaking views in the city, and Midtown Terrace and Forest Hill tuck in to the south with quiet, beautiful blocks that feel worlds away from the bustle of the city.
Our walkers are completely comfortable with the hills out here, know how to find the flat stretches, and always steer clear of the busy streets to keep every walk safe and enjoyable. The Sunset is mostly single family homes and classic SF flats, which makes access straightforward, and we take care of any building specifics during onboarding. It's a wonderful area to walk, and our dogs out here seem to agree.
How We Walk the Sunset
The Sunset has real hills, especially up toward Grandview and Forest Hill. Our walkers know where to find the flat blocks when your dog needs them and how to pace climbs when they don't.
Golden Gate Park's south entrance is right there, but the park is full of unpredictable off-leash interactions. We stay on the residential streets where your dog is calm and in control.
Most of the Sunset is single family homes and small flats, which makes access simple. We set up lockboxes or keys on file during onboarding and pickups run smoothly every single time.
